  • 1. Hypotenuse is the longest side of a triangle, located in front of a right angle.
        Phytagoras law indicated that : 10² = y² + 9y² --> 10² = y² (1 + 9) --> y = [tex] \sqrt{10} [/tex]
        The area of the right triangle is [tex] \sqrt{10} [/tex] × 3[tex] \sqrt{10} [/tex] = 30 cm²
